In the last months, British farmers union NFU has been broadly communicating misleading information with regard to the current EU partial ban on neonicotinoids. NFU discloses figures of oil seed rape crop losses of 30% or more. Actually, the effective observed losses are far smaller than these scaremongering figures, as the official figures indicate.
