Today, the IUCN task force on systemic pesticides have communicated on the forthcoming publications of a metaanalysis of over 600 peer-reviewed scientific articles on systemic pesticides. This study points at the harm of systemic insecticides (neonicotinoids and phenylpyrazoles) to bees but also to the environment in general (amphibians, earthworms, etc.). The result of this work has been called the The Worldwide Integrated Assessment of the Impact of Systemic Pesticides on Biodiversity and Ecosystems (WIA)
