28 May 2015 Neonics not necessary to Canada's maize and soy production
Another demonstration of the power of the pesticides industry to make farmers buy chemicals they do not need: a leaked report for Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) indicates that neonics use in maize production has nearly no economic benefit and none at all for soy bean production. The question is: how come they are used in nearly 100% of maize crops if they are not necessary? How did pesticides companies do to make farmers buy products they did not need?
