January 2016 Negative effects of pesticides on wild bee communities can be buffered by landscape context

Wild bees are often disregarded by regulators despite of their outmost importance in pollination. Honey bees, being just one actor in the magy of pollination. This interesting publications shows how wild bee populations are susceptible to the use of pesticides. Intriguingly, fungicides appear to have an important negative effect on wild bees, contrary to what was previously believed. Diverse and wild landscape, not surprisingly, are positive to them.
