28 May 2015 Study shows neonicotinoids increase honey bee colonies' winter mortality

The authors of this study conclude that the field-relevant concentrations used (5 and 20 ppb) do not show any harm but we do not agree with this statement. The low number of hives used does not permit to have statistical differences but clear trends show that 5 and 20 ppb already increase hives' winter mortality and decreases pollen and nectar harvesting as you can see below:
